VIZIO E220VA Great for kitchen or bedroom.
First of all, I did not buy this from Amazon or one of it affiliates. When our bedroom TV croaked, I went to Amazon first to check prices on several 22" TVs. Then Costco. But, since we were heading to town I figured I'd check Walmart which was right on our route. We found this exact TV model for over $55 LESS than the Amazon affiliate vendor. I often get the best deal on Amazon, but not this time.

This is a fine small TV for a kitchen or bedroom. Clear and crisp picture. Lots of input/output options. Sharp looking. Front facing speakers are pretty good for a small TV.... not great sound, but what do you expect from a small package. The volume is better than our previous TV which had to be turned up all the way when used off the satellite... this one 75% volume is adequate without distortion.

Setup was quick except I was a bit klutzy snapping in the base. But, once installed, the TV is very stable. I like the fact that the stand doesn't have a tall neck like our old one, keeps the TV flat on the table. The channel scan and other setup features worked perfectly. The only thing I don't especially like is the glossy trim about 1 inch wide around the edges... it reflects light from the windows and room. The matte screen handles reflections well.

So this time, I am thankful for the info and reviews on Amazon, but very glad I didn't click the "add to cart" button too quickly.

I replaced my old TV with this flat screen. Now, because I like this TV I bought for my kitchen so much, I'm really disappointed with the quality of my other TV's. Amazon has been great with all the orders I have placed, but now I have to look for a flat screen for my bedroom. I'll get back to you when I figure out how large I want for my bedroom.

VIZIO E220VA BEST PRICE, Does the job.
I desperately needed a second monitor for my work laptop, its pretty difficult only using one screen. So after doing research online, and coming to conclusion. I decided to purchase this product, so far it has treated me well. Fairly light to lift, very easy setup wizard. All in all I rate this a 5, it met my needs. Keeps cool, stand by mode, second screen :).

I bought this tv from my local Wal-Mart at college. I had a 19 inch in my dorm room before that was a combination dell monitor/tv. I wanted to use that one as a dedicated dual monitor for my laptop, so I looked at new tvs. I wanted something with full 1080p to use with my blu ray player and the digital channels I get at school. I liked this vizio for the price and for the features. It has enough inputs for my needs, I use my dvd player with composite (the component out on my dvd player doesn't work), wii with component, and I have an hdmi cable to hook up my laptop to it (my laptop is my blu ray player). The picture quality is excellent on high def channels and pretty darn good on standard def channels.

The biggest issues I've had with it so far is that the remote isn't super responsive. I have to press the buttons pretty hard to get the volume/channels to change. The sound gets plenty loud enough, but it increments from 1 to 100, so you have to change the volume by about 5 levels before you notice an appreciable difference in level. It would be much better if the sound incremented from 1 to 20 or something.

Overall though, those issues aren't anything I can't live with. My roommate and I pretty much exclusively watch USA and don't change the volume that often, so the remote isn't a big issue. If the remote is an issue for you, I would recommend a cheap universal remote.

As far as looks go, this is a slick tv. It's ridiculously thin and looks awesome! Everyone who comes in my room comments about how thin it is. I would very much recommend this tv for people looking for a small tv for dorm rooms or in an office. It doesn't take up much space and has a nice picture.
